The Problem with "Mean Girls"

Yesterday we went to see Mean Girls. Since it has been out for a long time, I'm not going to give it a full review. Instead, I'm going to tell you where I think it went wrong.

For the first hour, everything about Mean Girls is wonderful, especially Rachel McAdams, who can out-look and out-act Lindsey Lohan any day of the week. But the problem with this film simple. It seems to me that either Tina Fey had trouble figuring out how to end her script, or the studio interfered and messed it up. Neither would surprise me. Whenever you resort to cheap tricks--like having a girl get run over by a bus from out of nowhere--then your ending is in big trouble.
