A 5-4-3 Double Play

Today's double play starts off on a very sad note. Janet Leigh (of Psycho shower-scene fame; also, mother to Jamie Lee Curtis) and the brilliant comedian Rodney Dangerfield (Caddyshack) have both passed away.

The MPAA has rendered its verdict concerning Team America, settling on an R-rating. The only debate here was whether or not this Trey Parker/Matt Stone (South Park) film was going to be an adult-only NC-17.

Casting continues on Ben Affleck's next project, Man About Town.

ET Online has a bit about Tim McGraw's appearance in Friday Night Lights, scheduled to light up the big screen next... er, uh... Friday. And here's an AP article about this films journey from book to screen, but don't click on it unless you've already read the book or happen to be from Odessa (like myself) because several plot-points are discussed.

Rupert Murdoch, CEO for FOX, has announced that FOX will increase the number of films it churns out each year.

Howard Stern is moving his raunchy show to safer confines.

And That's a 5-4-3 Double Play!
